Abel Tasman National Park
Enjoy a day or three on the water, cruising the Abel Tasman’s hidden bays and beaches with the skipper as your personal guide.
You’ll have the freedom to create your own itinerary with options including kayaking, SUP, swimming, snorkeling, bush walks and hiking on golden sand beaches.
Dolphins and Whales
In the rich and fresh waters of Kaikoura an hour’s heli flight away you can participate in a unique experience by swimming with the Dolphins. The Dusky Dolphins are prevalent in the Oceans of the southern Hemisphere.
It is an impressive view when sometimes hundreds of them gather and perform incredible evolutions. Here you have the opportunity to get up close to these fascinating mammals in the water or just enjoying their evolutions from the boat.
After spotting marine life from your sea adventure, you’ll have a chance to view whales and dolphins from the air during your 30-minute flight with Wings Over Whales.
In a typical flight you will see the majestic Sperm Whale preparing for his next dive and up to 500 Dusky Dolphins playfully swimming. Occasional sightings include Southern Right, Humpback, Fin, Sei, Brydes, Pilot, Southern Bottlenose and Blue Whales. Other, less frequent, visitors to the area include Common, Hectors, Risso’s and Southern Right Whale Dolphins, and Orca.
“My wife and I wanted to travel through Chile, Bolivia and Peru and were slightly daunted by the logistics of organising such a varied trip.
John Resse, USAChris was incredibly helpful not only mapping out the most exciting and engaging trip, but also using his extensive personal knowledge of the best things to do. They were reassuringly efficient in organising the trip, monitoring how we were doing during the trip and making adjustments to improve the trip.
Tracy Williams, UKChris’s passion and enthusiasm encouraged us to do things we wouldn't have thought to do, which gave us fantastic memories of the trip of a lifetime.”
