Zip lining and bear tracking – Canada

This thrilling eco-adventure is fun for the whole family! This experience features 2.5 hours of ziplining on a series of five zipline cables with a combined length of over 800 metres—a half-mile!

Ziplines are joined together by suspension bridges, aerial stairways, and a ground-based trail. As your adrenaline pumps, you’ll enjoy the hidden beauty of Fitzsimmons Creek and the picturesque forest valley between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.

Along the way, ziptrek guides teach you about local ecology and Whistler’s coastal temperate rainforest. Transportation to and from Whistler Resort is included.

Bear Viewing & Ecology Tour

Track and learn about black bears with the local expert Michael Allen, who has been conducting research on the bears for more than 10 years.

Rising above Whistler Village are the vast coastal hemlock-cedar forests of the Whistler Blackcomb ski area. Interspersed with ski trails, these forests provide diverse food and shelter for some 50 black bears. From a comfortable 4×4 vehicle, you’ll experience pristine views of wildlife and one of the most spectacular alpine settings in the world at sunset. You’ll wander through old growth coastal forests, visit active bear dens, daybeds, and feeding sites, and witness evening play between a mother and her cubs.

Along the way, you’ll learn how conservation and enhancement initiatives help to sustain healthy populations, and how mountain resorts are redesigning recreational experiences for a sustainable future.

What our clients say about us

Incredible Experience

“My wife and I wanted to travel through Chile, Bolivia and Peru and were slightly daunted by the logistics of organising such a varied trip.

John Resse, USA

Best Trip Organiser

Chris was incredibly helpful not only mapping out the most exciting and engaging trip, but also using his extensive personal knowledge of the best things to do. They were reassuringly efficient in organising the trip, monitoring how we were doing during the trip and making adjustments to improve the trip.

Tracy Williams, UK

Fantastic Memories

Chris’s passion and enthusiasm encouraged us to do things we wouldn't have thought to do, which gave us fantastic memories of the trip of a lifetime.”
