Riding with Gauchos – Patagonia

A half-day horseback ride through Patagonian landscapes, beginning with a climb toward Dry Lagoon.

Riders cross the Patagonian foothills on horseback.
The story

Horseback rides are the quintessential way to explore and discover the landscapes, people and wildlife of this unique territory.

Your half-day ride starts by riding up a steep slope toward the banks of the Dry Lagoon, which looks similar to a salt flat. Later we will come to a lookout, from where we will be able to see the 2nd de January Ranch, where the gauchos will welcome and treat us to a warm mate by an open fire. We will return with the gauchos through forests and unstable terrain toward the stables for a delicious Patagonian asado (BBQ).
