Jet Boat Picnic

Travel by jet boat into New Zealand backcountry for a day combining the river journey with a picnic.

Visitors ride a red jet boat through a narrow rocky river gorge.
The story

Not many people know the jetboat was invented in New Zealand as a means to access the backcountry for farmers, hunters, fishermen and hikers. This safari which we developed goes back to the roots of jetboating for a spectacular, tasty, fun and very authentic New Zealand day.

We take you on the real thing, with an expert driver picking a complex route through shallows, avoiding boulders, gravel banks, trees and sometimes cattle!
