Exploring with a conservationist – Costa Rica

Fly by private helicopter over Area de Conservación Guanacaste and, weather permitting, around craters, waterfalls and jungle valleys in the Guanacaste Volcanic Mountain range. Spend the day with conservationist Daniel Janzen and his team of parataxonomists exploring the forest and observing their work collecting specimens, taking photographs and documenting DNA samples. Share dinner with Daniel, then return to the night forest to experience its sounds and observe moths, butterflies and other nocturnal insects by UV light.
