The story

A 50 minute spectacular helicopter flight from Sydney, there is so much to enjoy in this prized region. The 7,000 acre nature reserve can be explored on foot, by bike, or on horseback.

Savor a wilderness picnic complete with fine champagne, or get an insight into the difficult lives of early Australian settlers as they learned to adapt and even thrive in this challenging environment.

Children are welcome and can explore with you or enjoy the Wolgan Rangers program. Guests can observe trained teams and learn about wildlife surveys and conservation work.

Glow worms can also be seen, and at night experience Australia’s incredible sky with a campfire in the bush, and spot wildlife when they are most active. Your expert guide will take you to the best spots to encounter possums, wombats, gliding marsupials and owls, and observe the nocturnal behavior of kangaroos, wallabies and wallaroos.

Your trip includes a donation that funds important research into wombats conducted by Western Sydney University.
